Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction CourseMindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8 week program that teaches mindfulness in order to learn greater balance and effective strategies for an improved sense of wellness in one's own life. Since its founding in 1979 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, thousands of people have participated in MBSR courses offered around the world, including at leading medical centers such as Duke, Stanford and the Jefferson-Myrna Brind Center for Integrative Medicine. Over the past three decades extensive research has now been done looking at the effectiveness of MBSR. Date/Time: |
