• EAGALA

• Natural Lifemanship's Fundamentals of Trauma-Focused Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy 

• Impact of health & diagnosis to Therapeutic Horsemanship

• Safety & Ethics

 

Business Development

• Session planning, progression & debriefing

• Record-keeping basics

• Marketing & Social Media

• Public Relations and Promotion

• Non-profit formation & Development

 

Format:

On-site field instruction (3 full weeks at Horse Sense of the Carolinas, Inc, a leader in the Therapeutic Horsemanship Field)

• Additional trainings in EAP/EAL field

• Classroom Discussions (virtual classrooms)

• Book discussion about required texts

• Guest lecturers covering specialty topics

• Individual Consultation calls

• Mentoring

 

This experience will also provide opportunities for continuing education and long term mentoring.
